Get familiar with “Gee.Q” emerging out of Compton California. Growing up Gee.Q had an interesting and Well balanced Childhood. Experiencing what the typical young black man goes through in the hood. Staying off Lennon St right next to Roy Campanella Park until he was around 7 years old, then moved to Watts/Jordan Downs with his mother. There’s pros and cons with growing up outside in these inner city neighborhoods. Although Gee.Q had to grow up a lot faster as a kid, based off life experiences of situations he been through and seeing chaotic events outside. It also taught him certain ways to move around , and he learned the ins and outs of how to survive the area he grew up in. With both of his parents being Artist themselves, music was always around. Listening to artist like 2Pac, Biggie, Snoop Dogg, DMX, OutKast, Kendrick Lamar and more. As he grew older he was more into sports and making money than rapping at first. But being around his cousins and friends who were in rap groups and making music themselves, sparked the interest in him, and eventually he started to freestyle and go through beats finding his love for the game. And it was around 2018 when he started to take his craft serious and the rest is history. Putting everything he had into Hip-Hop, sticking to his dreams through all trials and tribulations. Around 2019 is when he paid for Artist Development at District Sound/Music Group In Torrence CA, which took his confidence and sound to the next level. Currently Gee.Q is one of the most talented up and coming artist on the West Coast. Displaying high level rap over great production.
