CUZZOS—made up of Big I-N-D-O, JassCole, Milly Mo, TeaaWhy, and BB—didn’t start off chasing fame. What began as a group of close friends celebrating TeaaWhy’s 25th birthday evolved into a full-fledged rap unit. Their first collaborative track, “Goochie Mayne,” shot them into the local spotlight, serving as an introduction to their charisma, humor, and bold L.A. aesthetic.
Their beginnings were entirely grassroots—no big label machine, no major co-signs. Just a handful of women with talent, confidence, and a shared vision. They began releasing music, shooting visuals, and building momentum in true DIY fashion, quickly catching the attention of both fans and industry insiders.
CUZZOS’ music captures the essence of modern West Coast hip-hop with a refreshing twist. Their sound blends aggressive punchlines with lighthearted wordplay and feminine confidence. Each member brings her own style and voice to the table, making their records feel like a conversation between five personalities who know exactly who they are.
Tracks like “Pop Out” and “GoldMembers” showcase their chemistry, delivering slick bars, catchy hooks, and a playful group dynamic that feels natural and entertaining. The group’s lyrics often touch on confidence, lifestyle, relationships, and independence—all wrapped in clever, streetwise delivery that keeps listeners coming back for more.
After dropping their debut single “Goochie Mayne” in 2023, CUZZOS released their first EP Stay Safein 2024, solidifying their identity as one of the most exciting new rap collectives out of California. That same year, they performed their single “GoldMembers” at Kendrick Lamar’s “The Pop Out: Ken & Friends” concert at the Kia Forum on Juneteenth—an iconic stage for rising L.A. talent.
Their momentum continued when they appeared in Kendrick Lamar’s “Squabble Up” music video, directed by Calmatic, further aligning them with one of hip-hop’s most respected names. These moments proved CUZZOS weren’t just local buzz—they were a movement in the making.
In 2025, they released their anticipated full-length project Family Reunion, a 12-track album featuring artists like Kamaiyah, Chef Boy, and Chico Bean. The project showcases their growth, diversity, and commitment to storytelling—offering a balance of hard-hitting anthems and fun, feel-good records that capture who they are as both individuals and a unit.
For CUZZOS, the magic lies in authenticity. They don’t try to fit into industry molds or emulate what’s trending—they’re fully themselves. Their music videos highlight their humor and charisma, while their interviews reveal a grounded, sister-like bond that fans find relatable.
Even with the challenges of balancing five schedules and creative visions, CUZZOS thrives on unity. That bond, coupled with their unique energy, has made them stand out in a crowded rap landscape.
