For Siete7x, childhood in Compton, California was filled with good and bad times, community, and endless energy. He remembers it as “real fun,” spending his days outside with friends, playing every sport he could, and soaking in the environment around him. With a large family and siblings spread out across different places, Compton became his anchor.
Music was part of his life long before he ever considered becoming an artist. As a kid, he played drums in church, always keeping a drum set close by. He was drawn to old-school and soulful music, sounds that would later seep into the core of his style—smooth, emotional, and melodic.
His journey as an artist began unexpectedly. After losing a close friend, Siete7x created a tribute track—something raw, real, and from the heart. A major part of his early development was thanks to Joe Coolie, who opened his home studio to Siete7x nearly every day. That access gave him space to build, experiment, and grow without limits. The more he recorded, the deeper he fell into the craft.

But as he spent more time in the studio, he leaned into the melodic side of his voice—something natural, soulful, and reflective of the music he grew up on. Now standing at the beginning of a new era, Siete7x releases Misunderstood—a 14-track project that blends emotion, storytelling, and West Coast energy in a way only he can deliver.
