Key’ijah Keeps God at the Center of Her Sound

Key’ijah is a gospel hip-hop artist from Riverside, California, building her own lane through faith-driven music that feels honest and rooted in real experience. Her latest single, “Real Squabbler,” continues to show her commitment to making music that represents God while still connecting with today’s hip-hop sound.

Music has been part of Key’ijah’s life since she was young. Between the ages of 10 and 12, she began writing and experimenting with freestyling after being exposed to music through her uncle, who had a studio set up in his room. Being around that environment sparked her creativity early and gave her the confidence to express herself through music.

While she had been making music for years, her decision to create music specifically for God came much later. Around 2020, Key’ijah began to realize she wanted a deeper relationship with God. That journey wasn’t easy at first, as she didn’t grow up in a household where faith was strongly practiced. Still, she believes everything happened at the right time. What started as a desire for change turned into a serious commitment to her faith, and once that connection was made, there was no turning back.

Since then, Key’ijah has used her music as a way to share her testimony and reflect her growth. Songs like “Is You Ridin’ 4 the Lord?”, “Squabble,” “Super Hyphy (Christian Mix),” “Praise To God,” and “Ain’t Going Back” highlight her ability to blend energetic hip-hop elements with clear messages centered on faith and purpose.
