Born and raised in Long Beach before eventually relocating to the Bay Area as a teenager, Yung LB’s story is built on hustle, survival, culture, and vision. Proud of his Tongan heritage, LB grew up surrounded by different influences that would later shape both his music and entrepreneurial mindset. While many around him were caught up in street life, he focused on sports, creativity, and finding his own lane early on. A major turning point came through his involvement with the Cookies movement and the Cookies Boyz street team. Traveling, networking, and learning firsthand how major brands moved gave LB a deeper understanding of marketing and brand awareness. He saw the power of culture, consistency, and direct connection with people. Those lessons would later become the foundation for everything he built on his own.

LB eventually became one of the key figures connected to the rise of the Runtz brand. From discovering quality product in Oakland to helping push the branding and viral marketing behind it, he understood early how important presentation and culture were. Instead of relying on traditional promotion, LB embraced internet culture, memes, word-of-mouth marketing, and in-person networking at major events like the Emerald Cup. What started as an idea quickly turned into one of the most recognizable names in cannabis culture.

But LB’s vision always stretched beyond one business. Over the years, he expanded into multiple ventures while continuing to build his personal identity and brand. Whether through partnerships, independent business moves, or music, he consistently focused on ownership and longevity.
