Growing up in Lawndale, California, Trizzy Bands was surrounded by the love of family and the culture that helped shape the person he is today. His childhood was filled with good memories, raised by his mother, Rashun, and his grandmother, Sharon. They became the foundation of his life, giving him the support and guidance he needed from an early age.
Life changed in 2021 when Trizzy lost his mother to cancer. She was more than just a parent—she was his superhero. Three years later, he faced another heartbreaking loss when his grandmother passed away due to kidney failure. Although both losses left a lasting impact, they also became part of the motivation behind his journey, pushing him to keep moving forward while carrying their memories with him.
Before music became his passion, basketball was his first love. He started playing at just five years old and spent countless hours on the court, especially at Willam Green Park in Lawndale. The game became a major part of his upbringing, teaching him discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Even today, he continues to compete on an adult basketball team, proving that his love for the sport has never faded.
Growing up between Lawndale and Inglewood, Trizzy was always connected to both communities. His mother’s home was in Lawndale, while his grandmother lived in Inglewood, giving him the chance to experience different parts of Los Angeles throughout his childhood. Those neighborhoods, along with the people around him, helped shape his outlook on life and continue to influence his music today.
At 18 years old, Trizzy decided to step into the recording booth and begin making music. Inspired by legendary artists like André 3000, Pharrell, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Frank Ocean, he developed a style that refuses to fit into one lane. Rather than chasing trends, he focuses on creating a sound that feels authentic to who he is—something he believes listeners haven’t heard before.
As his passion grew, he spent time recording at Ice Cream and working alongside Lyngo Beats, continuing to sharpen his craft and build his own identity as an artist. Every session became another opportunity to evolve and bring his vision to life.
