The Story Behind the Artist: The Journey Of Noodah05

Growing up in Zone 4 of Southwest Atlanta, Noodah05 learned early what it meant to be tough. He was the second oldest of five siblings, raised in an environment he describes as rough and challenging. Being surrounded by different people and experiences helped him develop thick skin and shaped the person he would become.

Family played a major role in his upbringing. His father passed away before he was born, leaving his mother to play a central role in his life. Noodah05 openly describes himself as a “mama’s boy,” a reflection of the close relationship they shared and the impact she had on him growing up.

Like many young artists from Atlanta, music became part of his world at an early age. He was influenced by Southern Hip-Hop legends such as 8Ball & MJG and Lil Wayne, artists who helped shape his understanding of the culture and the possibilities within it.

Before music became his main focus, Noodah05 was also heavily involved in sports. He boxed and played football during high school, but an ACL injury eventually changed his path. Around the same time, the experiences he went through at home and in his community began influencing the way he expressed himself.

Noodah05 started making music around the age of 13. His mother had set up a home studio for his older brother, giving him an opportunity to experiment with recording. He began recording in a closet, using music as a way to express thoughts and feelings he wasn’t always able to communicate in other ways.

His early music came from a personal place. Instead of only focusing on the typical subjects often heard in street music, Noodah05 found himself writing about family trauma, life experiences and the things he was dealing with internally. Music became a way for him to cope and tell his story.

It wasn’t until around 19 that he decided to take music seriously. After sharing one of his early songs and receiving strong feedback from people around him, he realized there was something worth pursuing. What started as an outlet eventually became a career.

His connection to Lil Baby also goes back to their Atlanta roots. The two grew up in the same area, and Lil Baby supported Noodah05 from the beginning of his musical journey. That early support became another important part of his development as an artist.

Throughout his journey, Noodah05 has continued building a catalog that reflects different sides of his life and artistry. Records like “Hero,” “My Time,” “4AM In Atlanta,” “Around Me,” “Forever Lasting,” “Siren,” “Goin Down” and “Demon Time” have helped establish his sound and give listeners a closer look into his world.

Now, Noodah05 continues that story with his new album, “Champion Story,” available now on all streaming platforms. The 16-track project features no guest appearances, putting the focus entirely on Noodah05, his voice and his story.
