Oxnard, California native Goldiie Lux is one of the most talented artist representing the West Coast. Raised in a coastal city known for its beaches, strawberry fields, and mountain views, Goldiie Lux describes Oxnard as a tight-knit community that helped shape who she is today. The environment taught her to stay genuine and grounded rather than chasing status or trying to climb social ladders.
Growing up, creativity was always a part of her life. Goldiie Lux proudly describes herself as a bit of a “nerd,” someone who loves reading and researching. That curiosity was heavily influenced by her family’s background in teaching, which encouraged learning and exploration from a young age.
Music was never far away. As a child, she remembers making up songs with her sister and a friend, even performing for neighbors in hopes of earning a little money. As she got older, her memories of Oxnard expanded to include nights by the ocean, spending time at beach bonfires with friends while growing up in the community she still calls home.
Goldiie Lux often jokes that she’s been involved with music since she was in her “mommy’s tummy.” While music has always been part of her life, she began seriously pursuing it and releasing songs around 2024–2025. Her early creative spark even came from unexpected places, including inspiration from video games like Hogwarts Legacy, which helped fuel her imagination and storytelling.
Goldiie Lux values the close-knit environment of being part of a smaller label, where communication and guidance are more personal. She has built a strong relationship with Arnold Taylor, the CEO and President of South Coast Music Group. According to Goldiie Lux, his honesty is something she deeply appreciates in an industry where straightforward advice can sometimes be rare. Even when the feedback is tough to hear, she credits Taylor’s guidance for pushing her to grow and improve. One of the most important lessons he’s shared with her is simple but powerful: always remain genuine to yourself.
Now, Goldiie Lux is introducing listeners to her artistry with her latest release, a four-song EP titled “Save Me.” The project highlights her evolving sound and features DaBaby on the third track, adding another layer of energy to the record.
Today, her motivation comes from several sources. Her family continues to be a driving force, along with her team at South Coast Music Group. She’s also inspired by her three cats—Shadow, Venom, and Spook—who she adopted as strays during the same year and now considers part of her everyday support system.
