We sat down and asked “A8EEZY” a few question’s for his fan’s to get a deeper look at his upbringing.
Q: What city are you from?
A8EEZY: Im from Inglewood CA.
Q: When did you start making music?
A8EEZY : I started making music in 2022
Q: Tell us about your childhood?
A8EEZY : I was born in Los Angeles, CA then moved with my mom to Nevada then Georgia shortly after that. I was with her until I was 11 then I moved to Inglewood, CA with my dad and stayed with him until I was kicked out at 14 and homeless for about a year living on the streets and couch surfing at different friends houses until I was 15. I moved back in and ended up going to college in Kansas to play football when I was 17 then graduated and moved back to Los Angeles around 22.
Q: What artist did you grow up listening to that inspired your sound?
A8EEZY : I listened to a lot of Tupac, Lil Wayne, Big Sean, and Suga Free.
Q: Where did you first start recording music? And where were the hang out spots growing up?
A8EEZY : My local hang out spot was the whole county of Los Angeles. From the Valley (since I went to High School in Woodland Hills) to Inglewood and in between. I started recording at Track 9 studios with Bigg Boo and then transferred my manager Coach Nic’s in home studio in Inglewood,CA.
Q: Who are some Artist you wanna shout out that you worked with?
A8EEZY : I haven’t worked with any other artist yet.
Q: If you could explain your sound how would you?
A8EEZY : I’d say my sound is refreshing. Amazing beats with heavy hitting bars and double entendres, mixed with stories and life lessons.
Q: What is your most recent release?
A8EEZY: My most recent release is titled “High Five” by A8eezy and it’s about praising yourself and being thankful for those around you.
Q: Do you have anything coming up?
A8EEZY : My next single coming out is called “Set the Vibes” by A8eezy and it’s something different! More on the Slick Rick side of rap with story telling as the theme.
