Sheezy Levell’s story is shaped by motion more than one fixed place. Originally from the West Side of Eugene, Oregon, he spent his early years moving back and forth between Eugene, Portland, and Phoenix. That constant shift influenced how he sees the world and how he approaches music. Different cities, different energies—but one perspective that stayed consistent as he grew.
Eugene remains the foundation. Sheezy pushes “One Eight” as a direct reference to the neighborhood he comes from, using it as a way to represent his roots wherever he goes. It’s personal, not performative—something tied to real experiences rather than image. That sense of origin shows up in his music, grounding his sound even as his life extends beyond Oregon.
Earlier this year, Sheezy Levell released his first full project, Better Late Than Never. The project marked a turning point, introducing him as an artist focused on growth and timing rather than rushing for attention. The songs reflect where he’s been and the lessons picked up along the way, offering a clear picture of who he is and what he stands on.
Soon after, he followed up with his new single, “This That,” his first release since the project dropped. The track signals a new phase, carrying confidence without forcing it. It feels direct and intentional, showing an artist who understands his sound and is comfortable moving at his own pace.
Alongside his Eugene roots, Phoenix plays a major role in Sheezy’s current path. He’s part of Guilty Love, a Phoenix-based label and artist collective built around collaboration and shared vision. Being part of the collective has allowed him to grow creatively while staying connected to a larger community of artists pushing forward together.
Sheezy Levell continues to move with purpose, balancing where he’s from with where he’s going. With Better Late Than Never setting the foundation and “This That” opening the next chapter, his focus remains on steady progress, honest expression, and representing both One Eight and Guilty Love wherever his music takes him.
