Redwood City artist BLVKROSEROMAN grew up surrounded by two things that shaped his life early: sports and music. With an older brother already creating music with local artists, the studio environment became familiar long before he ever stepped into it himself. By the age of 12, he wasn’t just listening—he was creating, carving out the earliest versions of the artist he would later become.
Raised on the west side of Redwood City, especially around Marlborough Ave, his childhood was spent moving through downtown, the roller rink, the parks, and the streets that carried the rhythm of his community. Those environments, along with the influence of iconic West Coast figures like Mac Dre, The Jacka, Andre Nickatina, E-40, and Mistah F.A.B. helped shape the sound and identity he carries today.
BLVKROSEROMAN describes his style as “Go Getter Music”—a blend of West Coast and Bay Area energy rooted in hustle, drive, and staying true to who you are. His music reflects movement, ambition, and the mentality of someone who wants more out of life while staying grounded in where he came from.
Most of his catalog was recorded in his own studio, engineered by his brother Xitaz—the person he credits as the backbone of his entire rap journey. Their bond, both personal and creative, helped him mold his sound into something authentic, polished, and meaningful.
His most recent releases, “CAN U HEAR ME NOW” and “RWC BABY,” represent both his growth and his pride in his hometown. And he isn’t slowing down. A new EP is on the way, featuring collaborations with Mistah F.A.B. and Baby Gas, further cementing his connection to the Bay’s legacy and future.
Beyond the music, BLVKROSEROMAN is building a lifestyle and movement known as BLVKROSE—short for “The Beautiful Struggle.” To him, it represents the reality that every dream comes with challenges, and the journey itself is where growth happens. It’s a reminder to embrace the grind, honor the process, and keep pushing through whatever stands in the way.
With a strong foundation, a unique vision, and a message built on resilience, BLVKROSEROMAN continues to carry Redwood City with him as he steps into the next chapter of his artistry.
