Get familiar with “Daahveed” emerging out of Pico Rivera, California. Growing up Daahveed had a great, well balanced upbringing. Raised by his mother in a single parent household, with his grandparents and cousins under the same roof. And although he didn’t start rapping himself till Highschool, music was always around. Listening to artist like 2pac, Nate Dogg, Snoog Dogg, Cypress Hill, Bone Thugz N Harmony, and more. But his biggest inspiration came from his cousin “Ernest Castañon” who was more like his brother, who Sadly passed away in 2021. Starting off Daahveed was more so just having fun with his friends free-styling at school. Having a back round in poetry and literature he was always great at articulating himself and the ability to express his feelings through words. Once he graduated high school is when he took his craft more serious. Daahveed and his friend “Rene Lupian” who also made music , would link up with their mutual friend who had a in home studio set up, where they were able to record and have fun. It wasn’t till his friend passed away in 2018, when he decided to go 100% all in on his new found purpose. To take the music to the highest heights possible to honor and remember his loved ones who passed away, that gave him the inspiration to begin his musical journey in the first place. With the help from his cousin “Angel Torres” who is on the production side, who has been his producer and engineer and majority of his records. Daahveed is currently one of the most talented up and coming artist on the West Coast. From his authenticity to his versatility.
