Get familiar with “Drow$y” emerging out of Orange County. Growing up he had to face a-lot of challenges during his upbringing. His mother having him at 18 years old and his parents were separated before he was born. Growing up in a nice city but living in low income households, he knew things were different. Surviving off government programs like EBT and WIC , but he was never the one to cry in his own sorrows. Witnessing a lot of alcohol abuse and domestic abuse between both homes, Drow$y often felt like he was the one parenting his parents not the other way around. Dealing with his own situations as he grew older, getting caught stealing out the locker rooms in the 8th grade, later on charged with assault and battery by threatening someone with a knife. By the age of 13 he was probation till the age of 18 years old. By the time he was put on probation, he been rapping for about a year. Getting inspired listening to artist like Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, J Cole, Nas, Ludacris, Kendrick Lamar, Asap Rocky, Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa, Joey Badass, Kid Cudi, Ab-Soul, Odd Future, Larry June, Denzel Curry, Raider Klan, Earl Sweatshirt, The Alchemist, Westside Gunn, and more. Starting off he use to record music in his closet off his laptop. Eventually started to use GarageBand on his iPhone, where he started to find his sound and direction. Later on saving up money from hustling, he spent around $2500 and built him a quality In home studio where he can take his sound to the next level. Over the last year he bounced around trying various amount of engineer’s and studios from Los Angeles to San Diego. Currently he is one of the most talented up and coming artist out there OC. With a classic 90’s style, converted into his own sound, built off the inspirations from the artist he grew up on.
