Born in the Bronx, New York, at Lincoln Hospital—the same hospital where Tupac Shakur was born—Fukkktheworld’s story begins with adversity, resilience, and a relentless drive to survive. Raised between the Bronx and Harlem, he experienced both sides of New York’s culture from an early age. While Harlem taught him how to hustle, the Bronx gave him the toughness and thick skin needed to navigate life’s challenges.
At just six years old, he lost his mother, a life-changing moment that shaped much of who he would become. Quiet, intelligent, serious, and determined, he learned early that nothing would be handed to him. As a kid, he found ways to make money however he could—packing bags, pumping gas, shoveling snow, and even selling counterfeit Yankee hats and T-shirts. The lessons of hard work and self-reliance became permanently embedded in his character.
Music entered his life around the age of 10, but by 13 he was fully committed to pursuing it. He started as a battle rapper, sharpening his pen and developing the confidence that would later help him become a complete artist. Over time, he evolved from simply winning battles to creating records that reflected his life experiences, emotions, and worldview.
His musical influences are as diverse as his sound. Michael Jackson was the first artist who made him want to create music. Artists like Fabolous, Jadakiss, DMX, and Lil Wayne helped shape his approach to lyricism and storytelling. Tupac’s impact went even deeper, inspiring him to use his platform for something greater than music alone.
Trying to place Fukkktheworld into one genre is nearly impossible. Raised in a Caribbean household with family roots in St. Thomas, he grew up listening to reggae and dancehall. Living in a predominantly Spanish neighborhood exposed him to different cultures, foods, and musical styles. His love for pop, rock, rap, and global sounds helped create a style that refuses to be boxed in.
Before becoming Fukkktheworld, he recorded under the name “Chef.” But after experiencing more of life, including time spent incarcerated, he felt the need for a name that better reflected his journey. He has always considered himself an outsider—a rebel who often felt different from those around him. The name Fukkktheworld became an expression of that mindset and his refusal to conform.
Now based in Atlanta, where he has lived for the past 20 years, Fukkktheworld continues to build his career independently. He records, mixes, and masters his own music, whether working from home or in major studios. Independence is a core part of his identity, which is why he chose July 4, 2026, to release his next project. For him, dates, song titles, and creative decisions all carry deeper meanings and messages.
At this stage in his life, he says his music comes from a spiritual place. Rather than forcing ideas, he allows them to flow naturally, trusting the process and channeling what he receives. It’s a creative approach that reflects both his personal growth and artistic evolution.
As he prepares for the release of his debut album, Versatile, arriving August 8, 2026, Fukkktheworld believes he is ready for the world stage. More importantly, he believes the world is ready for an artist unafraid to embrace complexity, challenge perspectives, and speak from experience.
He also takes time to acknowledge the people who helped shape his journey. Whether through love, wisdom, criticism, hardship, or support, each person played a role in making him who he is today. He pays tribute to the memories of those he’s lost, including Dizzy and Shamier, while expressing gratitude to friends, family, and supporters who stood by him through every chapter.
With his single PopRockPunkRap already available on all streaming platforms, along with previous releases under the name Fukkktheworld, the next chapter is approaching fast. If his story has proven anything, it’s that resilience, individuality, and purpose remain at the center of everything he creates.
The debut album Versatile arrives August 8, 2026.
