Thankful to have both parents in his life, even though they were separated. J5 was an active kid before the music, playing all type of sports and riding bikes, hanging outside with his friends. Unfortunately around 5th grade his mom was diagnosed with kidney cancer, which led to a different lifestyle , after she was unable to continue working. By the time he was in Highschool, he was locked in on football , eventually playing college ball. It wasn’t until Covid hit around 2021 when he started to make music. Getting Inspiration from artist like Rio Da Yung OG, King Von, Drakeo The Ruler, Nipsey Hussle, Mozzy, and more ! Taking his craft to the next level he started to lock in with various of studio’s to get that professional sound . From “RZN” Studios to his boy “Steven’s” garage studio in Maywood.
