Get familiar with “Jodi Luvv”, hailing from Gary Indiana by the way of Decatur Illinois. Growing up in a musical family it was destined for him to follow suit. With his pops being a DJ in the 70s/80s, and his mother being a pianist and vocalist, music was always around. At the age of 7 he was taking piano lessons. Also playing the Guitar, Bass, Drums and Saxophone. Listening to artist like Anita Baker, Stevie Wonder, Prince, The Temptations, Jamie Foxx, Sade and Jodeci. As he grew older, he continued to find his sound and direction. Started off recording his music at his friends home studio, before venturing off. Eventually creating his own record label “SoulReal Records” where he records out his own studio currently. Everything above playing apart in the sound you hear from him today. A wavy vintage vibe, with a smooth groovy feel and soulful touch. A true homegrown favorite, taking his name to new heights.
