Get familiar with “Mafi D”, Emerging out the central district of Seattle, Washington. Growing up Mafi spent his time outside on 23rd & union, hustling with the homies before they gentrified the area. Listening to music like Mac Dre and Lil Wayne inspired him to start making music himself. Although he was always a fan of music, he didn’t start recording till 2015. His older friend “Mac Slug”, had a spot down the street from the block, where he first started to record at. Playing around with different sounds and Melodies till he found his direction. He later met producer D-Pro & legendary Seattle Artist “Vitamin D” at his personal studio. Through a fellow rapper from his neighborhood “D Menace”. And that’s when things really took off ! All of the above playing apart in the sound you hear from him today. “Treal Melodies” (Trap • Reality • with Melodies). From finding his sound in 2015, to working with artist like BabyFace Ray, Larry June, Sauce Walka, Lil Seeto, Big Sad 1900, Lil Bean, And more.
