Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, I the Composer was raised in a home built on love, guidance, and strong values. His parents made sure the people around their family shared those same values, creating an environment where respect came first. One of the biggest lessons they instilled in him was self-respect—not only in how he carried himself and treated others, but also in how he approached opportunities, stood up for himself, and stayed committed to his dreams.
Unlike many kids, he wasn’t someone who spent most of his time outside. Home was where he found comfort, spending his free time watching shows and playing video games with his siblings. Those quiet moments helped shape the creative mindset he carries today.
Music became part of his journey at 17 years old when he began learning how to produce in 2021. Just two years later, he released his first official record, “Closer (A Little),” marking the beginning of his career. While those early releases helped build his foundation, 2026 is the year he’s fully committed to taking his music where he believes it belongs.
His biggest inspiration has always started at home. Watching his father’s confidence and unique style left a lasting impression on him. He also grew up listening to legendary artists like Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, and Michael Jackson. More than their sound, it was their passion and dedication to creating timeless music that inspired him to chase his own artistic path.
When describing his own music, I the Composer calls it atmospheric. His goal isn’t simply to make songs that hit hard, but to create records that surround the listener and transport them into a completely different space. Every production is designed to pull people into an experience rather than just a moment.
Everything he’s released so far has been recorded from home, proving that great music doesn’t require a major studio. Some of the equipment he still uses today was gifted to him by his father, making each recording session another reminder of the support that’s helped fuel his journey.
His latest release, “SLOW DOWN,” continues to showcase his evolving sound and artistic vision. While fans can enjoy that record now, he’s already looking ahead, with multiple projects planned throughout the rest of the summer as he continues building momentum.
As his career grows, I the Composer never loses sight of the people who helped him get here. He gives the biggest credit to his parents, who provided the tools, encouragement, guidance, and belief that allowed him to pursue music with confidence. He also credits his family and close friends, whose constant support has kept him motivated every step of the way.
