Takiyah

Get familiar with “Takiyah”, emerging from Cambridge Massachusetts. Growing up she was always into music. Listening to a variety of genres like Jazz, Reggae, R&B, Hip-Hop, Funk, and rock. Started singing at the church choir at just 5 years old. Growing up she was anti social, so she kept her talents mainly to herself. Only having confidence to sing In front of her best friend at the time “Nyajia” and her mother. Gaining some experience performing at talent shows when she was younger, but it wasn’t until she was 15 when she started taking music serious. Finding her sound and direction, she started recording at her cousins studio, and the rest is history ! Everything above playing a part in the sound you hear from her today. A extremely versatile style, can go from high level rap to R&B, and everything in between.
