Coming out of Brooklyn, New York, media personality JayyLoud is using his voice to create a lane of his own with his podcast, Wakeandbakewitjayyloud.
Growing up in Brooklyn exposed JayyLoud to different people, personalities, cultures, and ways of life. The environment taught him how to speak his mind, stand on what he believes in, and most importantly, how to communicate with just about anybody. Those experiences would eventually become a major part of what makes him comfortable sitting across from different personalities and having real conversations.
JayyLoud has always had an independent mindset. He never wanted to simply follow somebody else’s blueprint. As he got older, the idea became simple: why not build something with his own name on it? He wanted to create a brand that represented who he was and could eventually grow into something much bigger.
That vision led him deeper into media.
Naturally talkative and always interested in people’s stories, JayyLoud found himself wanting to know what was really behind the person—not just what people see on social media. Once he started conducting interviews, he realized there was something special about creating those conversations. You never know where a conversation might go, and sometimes the best moments happen when a guest opens up and shows a side of themselves their audience may have never seen.
That became the foundation of Wakeandbakewitjayyloud.
The podcast isn’t built around simply chasing the biggest names or the biggest headlines. JayyLoud believes everybody has a story worth hearing. Whether it’s an entertainer, athlete, comedian, entrepreneur, or somebody from the neighborhood with an interesting journey, he wants to give people a place where they can sit down, relax, joke around, and actually be themselves.
That approach is what gives the podcast its identity.
JayyLoud has taken inspiration from major interview platforms such as The Breakfast Club, Drink Champs, and Joe Rogan, along with other influential voices in the interview space. But inspiration never meant imitation. His goal has always been to take what he learned from watching others and create something that feels completely like him.
When people watch Wakeandbakewitjayyloud, he wants them to know exactly whose show they’re watching. The energy, the questions, the jokes, and the conversations all come from his own personality and style.
Over time, the podcast has brought a wide range of personalities through the door, including former WWE superstar Mr. Kennedy, Quise Entertainment, Cheigbo, Andrew “Combo” Salop, Pudgy Boyz Sports, and others. Each guest has brought something different to the platform, allowing JayyLoud to keep expanding the type of conversations he creates.
One week might bring wrestling. The next could be comedy, sports, music, or entertainment. That variety is part of what makes the podcast interesting.
But for JayyLoud, the podcast is only the beginning.
