Get Familiar with “YM KBG”, Emerging out of Paterson New Jersey. Growing up YM was raised mainly by his mother and grandmother. Coming from inner cities of New Jersey, YM had the normal upbringing of a child in that environment. With not a lot of opportunity or hobby’s that captivated YM growing up, he spent his time outside getting in trouble and hanging with girls. He always had a love for music though, at 8 years old, he would play around and imitate artist and perform songs at the family function . By 12 years old he started to write down his own raps. Inspired by artist like G Herbo, Lil Wayne, Future, Fetty Wap, Lil Durk, Chief Keef, and more. Eventually if he wasn’t up the Hill in Paterson hanging on “Spilla Block”, he was at “1801 Studios” Or “Kilo Vision Studio”. Everything above playing a part in the sound you hear from him today, “Elegant Trap”, as he would call it. Giving you that better living feeling but not taking you away from that trap life. “YM KBG”, is a true homegrown favorite and one of the most talented artist on the East Coast.
