Rising out of the Southside of Winston-Salem, Turbo TB is building a name for himself through raw storytelling, real-life experiences, and relentless consistency. Raised as an only child, he spent his early years playing soccer while developing a deep love for music. Growing up, his world was filled with rap records and Spanish Latin music, influences that would later shape the energy and emotion behind his own sound.
Music became serious for Turbo TB around the age of 19. What started as casually playing YouTube beats with friends quickly turned into something bigger. One day, after recording a song on his phone, he caught the attention of producer STEELZ, who encouraged him to step into a real studio and properly record the track. That song became “No More Fades,” the record that officially introduced him as an artist and opened the door to new opportunities.
As his momentum grew, Turbo TB found himself collaborating with artists he once listened to growing up. Inspired by names like Kap G, Lil Loaded, King Lil G, Speaker Knockerz, and Future, he eventually turned those inspirations into reality through collaborations and personal connections. Working with Kap G and Lil Loaded became defining moments in his journey, confirming for him that music was more than a hobby — it was his purpose.
One of the most meaningful moments in Turbo TB’s career came through his connection with Lil Loaded. Turbo TB was the final artist to collaborate with Lil Loaded before the rapper’s passing, a moment he still carries deeply. He says Lil Loaded believed in him from the beginning, and that support continues to motivate him to keep pushing forward.
Turbo TB describes his music as energetic with a strong West Coast influence, despite being rooted in North Carolina. His records reflect real emotions, personal experiences, and situations people can relate to. Whether he’s speaking on pain, ambition, loyalty, or everyday struggles, his music comes from a genuine place.
Most of his music has been recorded professionally in the studio, allowing him to sharpen his sound and grow as an artist. Outside of music, many of his memories trace back to spending time on the Southside of Winston-Salem, where he built friendships, gained life experience, and found much of the inspiration behind his records.
His latest release, “Standing On 10’s” featuring Stunna 4 Vegas, continues to push his name further while showcasing his growth as an artist. Looking ahead, Turbo TB plans to stay consistent with new music, including collaborations with Fenix Flexin, along with another album and EP currently in the works.
Throughout his journey, Turbo TB credits several people and platforms for helping him stay motivated and visible. He gives special thanks to producer STEELZ for believing in him early, along with platforms like Texas Buzz, That Daily Slap, Florida Foos, Cali Hits, and Rap Boost for supporting his music. He also shows love to Kap G for his guidance and genuine support outside of music, as well as NWM Cee Murdaa, who continued to motivate him after Lil Loaded’s passing by collaborating on visuals and helping him stay focused on the bigger picture.
