New Music: Skeme and Yung Roll Release New Project “Bag Brothers”

Inglewood, California native Skeme links up with rising artist Yung Roll for their new collaborative project, Bag Brothers, now available on all streaming platforms. The project features 11 tracks with one guest appearance from Lil Philly B.

Production is handled by Beats By Taz, Mike Free, Gentle Beats, Khalil, Sean Momberger, ProducedByMesa, FloccoMadeThisBeat, WADE., and UncensoredGotBeats, delivering high quality production throughout the entire project.

The opening track, “The Bag Brothers,” sets the tone right away. It’s lifestyle rap, street-heavy, bar-heavy, backed by production that gives Skeme and Yung Roll plenty of room to pop their shit. One standout line from the record is, “On my life my biggest fear is being a broke rapper.”

One of my personal favorite records on the project is track two, “Pay Us.” Skeme and Yung Roll effortlessly go back and forth on the hook, creating one of the catchiest moments on the tape. The line, “You know Duke po that drank, roll on that smoke,” is sure to stick with listeners.

Track five stands out for showing a different side of the duo. It’s a more melodic and heartfelt record, bringing something for the ladies while still keeping it for the streets.

On track eight, featured artist Lil Philly B steps in and showcases his one-of-a-kind flow and cadence, adding another layer to the project.

The closing record, “Love or Love Not,” sends a clear message. Whether you fuck with them or not, they’re going to stay true to themselves and keep getting to it. Love them or love them not, the grind doesn’t stop.

Throughout the project, listeners get classic Skeme—high-level rap, sharp bars, and his distinctive voice. Yung Roll holds his own from start to finish, showcasing his talent and commanding delivery. Make sure to check out the full project using the link below.
