Emerging out of Los Angeles, California, Slumlord Trill returns with his new album “Slum World!”, currently available on all streaming platforms. The 12-track project has no features and is presented by Rich Off La Brea, with the entire project mixed and mastered by Official IV.
Slumlord Trill is what you would call a hidden gem coming out of the city. With a unique sound, strong pen, and confident delivery, he continues to establish himself as one of the West Coast’s up-and-coming artists to watch. “Slum World!” also marks his second full-length project of 2026, following his earlier release “Winners Vs. Losers.” That type of consistency speaks for itself.
From the opening record, “Next To Me,” Slumlord Trill immediately sets the tone. He’s talking his talk over a laid-back sound, delivering high-level raps with a softer vocal tone but plenty of confidence.
He keeps that same energy going through “300 Blues” and “Mission Impossible,” continuing with the lifestyle-driven raps that give the project its identity. Then comes “Bottom Bitch Skit,” which adds another layer to the album and gives the project more character and personality.
Personally, my favorite records are tracks 9 and 10. “Lie To Me” and “Truth” show another side of Slumlord Trill and highlight his versatility as an artist.
He closes out the project with “Feelin Like,” bringing “Slum World!” to a solid finish.
Slumlord Trill is putting in the work, staying consistent, and giving listeners more reasons to pay attention. Make sure you tap in with the full album below and stay connected for more new music coming sooner than later.
