Get familiar with “Cotto”, aka “BeatsByCotto”, born in Carolina, Puerto Rico but raised in Yakima Washington. Growing up Cotto was trying a lil bit of everything, playing Soccer, running track, and on the wrestling team. Nothing he truly loved but was staying busy and it gave him something to do. Although music was always apart of his life through his family and heritage, he didn’t start creating until 2020. Gaining inspiration from Artist like Mac Miller, Kanye West, Pierre Bourne, and more. Once he took creating seriously during the pandemic he finally found his purpose, felt like he was supposed to be doing it. Taking a leap of faith interning at “Sage” Studios located in Seattle Washington. That’s where he found his sound and direction, and eventually started working full time out the same studio. Everything above playing apart in the sound you hear from him today. Sample Based with heavy 808’s, but a very versatile style.
