Get familiar with “Five” hailing from Shreveport Louisiana. Growing up on the Eastside (Stoner Hill) to be exact. With both parents and 4 other brothers. Five grew up in an environment that wasn’t sweet and shaped him to be the man he is today. Surrounded by folks with morals and principles. You had to fight, hustle, and show respect on the Eastside. Since his Grandmother was a pastor, they would be at church 5 days a week, which kept him out of a lot of trouble. Although he didn’t start to rap himself till he was a young teen, music was always around. His grandfather was a famous gospel singer, his pops and uncles were singers and dancers in the 70’s and 80’s. His uncle “Dre Kroon” had song placements on his TV shows “The Chi” and “Raisin Kanan”. It was around 16 years old when “Five” started to take his craft serious. He met a well polished Artist by the name of “Marlo Kyng” from Yonkers New York City, who inspired him to work harder at his music. He taught him how to write , song structure, and gave him confidence. Eventually starting a rap group named “GoodFellas” with group members Skip, Ryan (TroofMusic) PAC Man, Chris, CashMoney Hakeem, JP, Justin, C Da Future, Bread, and more. “Five” started off as an engineer and producer for the group. Eventually growing into one of the most talented up and coming artist from his city. Standing out with an authentic feel and versatile style. Mixing his Louisiana roots with his East Coast influence.
