From Inglewood to StackTown: The Story of StackBoyBandz

Growing up in Inglewood, California, StackBoyBandz was raised by both of his parents, but much of his childhood was spent at his grandmother’s house while his parents worked hard to provide for the family. His grandmother’s home became a major part of his upbringing, where he spent his days around his cousins and created memories that would stay with him.

At just 11 years old, StackBoyBandz lost his grandmother. Her passing became one of the early experiences that shaped him and his perspective on life. His childhood also came with its challenges. He often found himself in trouble at school for misbehaving and not listening to his teachers, but even at a young age, he already knew there was something he wanted to pursue. He had been dreaming about becoming a rapper since around the age of seven.

His main hangout spots growing up were his grandmother’s house and his father’s house in Los Angeles. Those environments, along with everything he experienced growing up, would eventually become part of the foundation for his music.

StackBoyBandz started making music at 16, but by 18 he began taking it much more seriously. Inspired by artists like YoungBoy and Nipsey Hussle, he connected with their music because he could relate to the stories they told and the experiences behind them. Their influence helped push him toward finding his own voice as an artist.

Today, StackBoyBandz describes his sound as unique. Rather than simply making music, he uses it to tell his story and paint his visions through calculated offbeats and different flows. His delivery changes with his mood, allowing him to express the ups and downs of his life through his music.

He records most of his music at RZN Studio, continuing to develop his sound while working toward his bigger goal of making it to the big leagues.

His most recent release, “How 2 Act” featuring Da Mystro, is another step forward in that journey. He is also preparing to release his upcoming EP, “Welcome 2 Da StackTown,” which will be exclusively produced by Da Mystro and feature a few other Los Angeles producers.

For StackBoyBandz, the music is bigger than simply chasing a career. It is about turning everything he has been through into something meaningful. He gives a special shoutout to Mystro for motivating him to keep working hard and pursuing his goals. He also credits his mother and father for raising him to never give up and teaching him what it means to be a real man.

Most importantly, StackBoyBandz gives thanks to God for helping him move beyond the negative experiences in his life and giving him a way to turn those experiences into music. He also appreciates his team for continuing to support him and push him toward becoming a bigger artist.
