Get familiar with “FTKSlick” born in Charlotte North Carolina, moved around growing up, but Milwaukee Wisconsin is where he calls home. FTKslick had a hard childhood and upbringing that came with a lot of trials and tribulations. From experiencing homelessness when he was 5, living in shelters with his mom in Brooklyn NewYork. Moving around a lot trying to find stability, they eventually moved in with his grandparents, on his mom’s side of the family. Being with his grandfather, made him calm down and settle into his childhood as much as possible. Until things took a turn for the worst, when his grandma, who is held dearly to his heart, passed away from Cancer in 2016. Leading him to head more into the street life, that came with him ditching school, stealing cars, smoking weed, getting into fights and shoot outs, and more. From the time he was 10 years old till now he moved around from San Francisco to Los Angeles, then moved to Houston, eventually moved to Philadelphia, all while being homeless just trying to survive. Eventually in July 2024, settling down in Seattle Washington. FTKSlick started rapping at the age of 11 years old. Listing to Artist like Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy E, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, 2Pac, NWA, and more. Eventually started to rap and record with friends and cousins. Music is therapy for him, a way to release pain, and get out what he been through in life. From the passing of his best friend “Shakur K’Vaughn Hayes” to every other trial and tribulations. He made a song for his older brother, which led to his big brother telling him to take music serious, and the rest is history.
