North Long Beach, California native Marc Nasty returns with his latest project, UNASTYM, a 13-track release currently available on all streaming platforms. Bringing together a solid lineup of production and West Coast features, Marc delivers a project that stays true to his sound while showcasing his versatility.
Featuring appearances from Zoe Osama, Tapri Grams, and G Perico, the project is backed by production from Budda Beats, James Royo, Ty Dolla $ign, Taylor Carl, Low The Great, Denis Raab, Austin Griffin, Naseer Womack, Melakhi Mcgruder, Dillon Jones, Vontrey De’Angelo Taylor, Cedric Bradley Jr., and more.
The project kicks off with track No. 1, “Intro,” setting the tone with exactly what listeners expect from Marc Nasty. High energy, confident, and commanding, he wastes no time establishing the vibe. Throughout the 13 tracks, listeners can expect a collection of club bangers, party slappers, and records made to slide and vibe to.
Track No. 2, “Feelings,” featuring G Perico and produced by Ty Dolla $ign, is my personal favorite off the project. It doesn’t get much more WEST COAST than this. The chemistry, production, and overall feel make this one stand out.
On track No. 6, “Slide Fasho,” Marc showcases another side of his artistry, bringing in melodic notes and demonstrating his versatility. Other standout selections include “Time 2 Go,” “Nobu,” “Poke It Out,” and “Make Em Jump.”
Closing things out with “It’s Time To Go,” featuring Los Angeles standout Zoe Osama, Marc puts his own spin on a classic Too Short record, giving the project a strong finish.
Marc Nasty continues to prove why he’s one of the West Coast artists worth keeping your eyes on. A true homegrown favorite, he’s bringing the same energy with a different season and giving listeners plenty of reasons to run this project back.
