Born in Hayward, California, Shocase24kts spent parts of his childhood in Union City before life took an unexpected turn. At an early age, he was kicked out and experienced homelessness, eventually finding himself living in San Francisco. Those difficult years gave him a different perspective on life and taught him resilience, lessons that continue to influence both his music and his mindset.
Music became an outlet at just 13 years old. Inspired by Bay Area legends like Mac Dre, The Jacka, San Quinn, Andre Nickatina, and the timeless influence of Tupac, he began developing his own sound while staying connected to the culture that raised him. Rather than following trends, Shocase24kts describes his music as something completely different—“from outer space.” It’s a style he believes is unlike anything that’s come before, blending his creativity with his real-life experiences.
Today, he records in Richmond alongside CheeseOnTheSlap, continuing to sharpen his craft while building a sound that’s entirely his own. Every record reflects pieces of his journey, from overcoming adversity to pushing the boundaries of what Bay Area music can sound like.
Shocase24kts recently released his latest single, “Driving Her Crazy,” featuring Bay Area icon San Quinn. Produced by his childhood friend Jaramino On The Beatz, the record highlights the chemistry between longtime friendships and authentic West Coast talent.
He isn’t slowing down anytime soon. His next single, “Balenciaga,” is set to arrive soon, with his future album, Global Ambassador, already on the horizon. As he continues to grow, Shocase24kts is proving that no matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, your story can become your greatest strength.
