WETBALL

We sat down and asked “Wetball ” a few question’s for his fan’s to get a deeper look at his upbringing.

Q: What city are you from?

Wetball : I would have to say I’m from Loma Linda, but I was raised all over the Inland Empire.

Q: When did you start making music?

Wetball: I started making music in 2014 and I started putting out music in 2015.

Q: Tell us about your childhood?

Wetball : My upbringing was pretty solid, for the most part I was an outside kid. I played a lot of sports growing up, mostly basketball.

Q: What artist did you grow up listening to that inspired your sound?

Wetball : Nipsey Hussle and Mac Miller

Q: Where did you first start recording music?

Wetball: My first sessions were at the boys and girls club, they had a studio in there and it was only $5 a month to record. Then I started going to my homies “Troy” house and we was rapping in his basement in San Bernardino. Those times probably developed me the most as an artist. After that a producer named “TH” found me at a show and I was working with him for about 5 years. Ever since I moved back to the IE from LA, I been recording myself in the whip at work every single day.

Q: Who are some Artist you wanna shout out that you worked with?

Wetball : I wanna shout out Atom Black, LupinTheCrook, Fiji4L, Zayyh4Pre$, and my brother Lul Egypt. These are the artist that I’ve worked with that had the biggest impact on me and my career.

Q: If you could explain your sound how would you?

Wetball: The best way to describe my sound is versatile. I’ve spent a long time telling every artist or producer that I want to meet them where they are at. The sound within the music is hungry and gritty. And I Fashoo have the most punchlines out there I.E, they really can’t even debate me on that one.

Q: What is your most recent release?

Wetball: My most recent release is “Loaded Up” available on all streaming platforms.

Q: Do you have anything coming up?

Wetball : Be on the look out for “Crusin” featuring “Atom Black” and is going to be on the Artist Connect Project.
