Memphis artist Bigg Bagg Queezy has been building her name in the music industry through experience, growth, and determination. From stepping into music as a teenager to sharing stages with some of the industry’s biggest names, her journey reflects the lessons, challenges, and personal experiences that have shaped the woman and artist she is today.
Queezy first discovered her passion for music during her childhood, beginning to rap in the ninth grade. By just 15 years old, she had already landed a feature on the viral record “Dance On My Friend.” Although the song brought early attention, she admits that she didn’t fully understand the music business at the time. Looking back, those early experiences gave her a foundation and an introduction to an industry she would eventually learn to navigate for herself.
Outside of music, Queezy experienced growing up at an early age. She describes jumping off the porch at 16 and moving out on her own at 17. Despite the responsibilities that came with becoming independent so young, she continued pushing herself forward. Education remained important, and she eventually earned her Associate’s degree. As she entered motherhood, her responsibilities grew even more. Balancing being a mother, maintaining a career, and continuing to pursue music has required discipline and determination.
One of the most meaningful relationships in her journey was her bond with the late FastCash CMoney. Their connection went beyond music, and his passing left a lasting impact on her life. Queezy reflects on their relationship and the memories they shared, explaining how his loss has become another reason to keep pushing forward and working harder. His influence remains a meaningful part of her journey.
As her career continued to develop, she transitioned from Ace Queezy to Bigg Bagg Queezy, embracing a new identity and another chapter in her music career. Along the way, she has earned opportunities to open for major artists, including Lil Baby and Big Boogie. She also spent 90 days on tour with Finesse2tymes, gaining valuable experience and exposure while continuing to build her name.
Creatively, Queezy continues to explore different sounds and approaches to her music. She discusses the process behind records like “What We Doing” and “Time Expired,” which samples the classic record “Chicken Head.” With new material on the way, she is preparing to release an upcoming EP titled “Back For Revenge.”
Currently, Bigg Bagg Queezy is keeping the momentum going with her latest single, “Business,”available now on all streaming platforms. From starting out as a teenager in Memphis to creating her own opportunities, navigating motherhood, and overcoming personal losses, Queezy continues to turn her experiences into motivation. With more music on the way, she is focused on her next chapter and making her presence felt in the industry.
