Get familiar with “Chaka Loc” emerging out the West Coast. Born and raised around the Harbor area mainly between Torrance and Wilmington. Raised by a single mother, with the help from his grandparents. Early in his childhood he lost his grandparents who were held close to his heart. As he grew older he spent alot of his time outside or at the local ice cream shop “Frosterz Freeze”. Although he didn’t start rapping till he was 14 years old, music was always around. Listening to almost any genre that caught his ear and specific artist that inspired him was NBA Youngboy, Juice Wrld, Rochy Rd, and more. Later on around 18 is when he started to take music serious. Dealing with drug issues, starting in his teenage years, is why music is his escape that give’s him hope and faith to keep moving forward. He eventually moved out to Los Angeles California, and that’s when everything started kicking up. Recording music at fellow artist house in LA who produces & engineers, and also having a home set up he can use to record and sometimes using Garage band as well. Currently he records at “DFRNT” studios in Korea town. Everything above playing apart in the sound you hear from him today. Standing out with a versatile style, distinctive voice and authentic feel.
